What’s Going on With Dominaide?

Dominaide First Math Plus had a wonderful year in 2010!  Thanks to the City of Covina Parks and Recreation Program, we have had the opportunity to provide our “Math Made Easy with Dominoes” class at the Joselyn Center from 2009 - 2010.   We are excited about extending our program for 2011.

Dominaide First Math Plus hosted booths at the Annual First Five Conference and the Southern California Kindergarten Conference in 2010.

We will be conducting a workshop on “The Dynamics of Using Dominoes” at the 2011 25th Anniversary of the Southern California Kindergarten Conference. The conference will be held at the Pasadena Conference Center on February 25 & 26.  We would love to see you there! This year we will be expanding our reach to help students from Pre-K thru High School.  There is much on the horizon for Dominaide First Math Plus and we are looking forward to a successful year in 2011.

Our Mission:

We are committed to providing a unique solution to the worldwide need to nurture a love for math in children and the adults who work with them.

About the Current Classes…

The “Math Made Easy with Dominoes” class is an after school 8 week program for 1 hour per week that serves as a supplemental Math Program for Pre-K, Kindergarten and School Age Students.  We look forward to continuing with the program and take great pride in the fact that several of our students have returned to advance their math skills.

We believe math abilities are inherent and therefore, First-Math Plus was created to help teachers and students of all ages love learning math.
